The historical charm and character of the hotel, with its Harry Potter-esque living and dining rooms, enchanted me from the moment I arrived. The cast iron beds and Victorian decor in my room immersed me in a bygone era, while the pictures lining the walls added a sense of historical depth that was truly captivating. The ivy-covered restaurant, glowing in the evening light, served up Corsican delicacies that were both delicious and generously portioned, making dining a highlight of my stay. Despite being in a dorm-like building, the proximity to the stunning Cascade des Angles and the convenience of generous parking made my exploration of the area effortless and memorable. Monte D'Oro stands out as a rare gem, offering a historical atmosphere that is both immersive and enchanting, making it a must-visit for travelers seeking a unique and unforgettable experience in Corsica.
